I went to Melia Cayo Coco as a Xmast present and also went with a wedding party.

I left my spirit there with all the entertainment people through the waiters caretakers the musicians and singers.

At first i was somewhat nervous. But really the Cuban People are a very Honorable people and respect them with all my heart. I miss them nd will be back. To the Rio del Sol and Jose, Peter, Nestor, Alex the twins all of You Make me want to come back and stay and live with all of you

I went to the melia my first time in June 2006 as a birthday gift from my mom.My parents had been going to Melia for 3 years .I met paradise for the first time in my life.The hotel and the staff was amazing.Went back in October with my mom and November of that same year with my husband.He loved it.April 2007 and September 2007 went back again to paradise.We just love it there.We are going again from May 10th to the 24th 2008.Yes there are better hotels out there and more updated ones but you know what it feels like home when we go to Melia.It all comes down to the staff.Mr Dias ,general manager and Hiran and Alex customer service make sure that you are well taken care off.The entertainment staff is amazing.Misael, Tokei and all the rest make you feel extra special.The house band audaces de hoy are amazing.The food is out of this world.The buffet in the morning, the barbacoa for lunch ( my favorite with Geney serving you and Charles cooking your meal and Audaces de hoy seranating you) As for dinner the buffet is very good as is the international and the steak house.To be honest never tried the italien.So to sum up this review, my husband and i love the Melia and we love the people there. We recommand to all of you. If you want to feel like home go to Melia . I garanty an amazing vacation. Siempre y para siempre.

Very friendly staff, they make you fell so welcome and they always have that nice smile. The food was good and I'm really picky and I always found something to eat. Would recommend this resort to anyone up for a fun quiet vacation. Misael, Osvaldo, Antony, Yanel, Yanet, ...

Visted with friends in Feb 2007. Had great time. Staff very professional and good at what they do, and are very friendly. What can I say about the food, it was suited our pallets down to the ground with plenty of fresh fish etc, the meats were very good as was the salads, could not fault it.
Lagoon bar is the best on a night , Orlando and Joseph are the tops. Beach bar is great watering hole during the day, beach is kept clean and you are even offered iced water as you lay on the beach.Your mini bar is stocked as you request,within reason. We have several A/I holidays a year allover the world and this surely rates as one of our best spots for the time of year.We met and made friends with some lovely people, especially from Canada. Infact we have booked to return March 2008 , after a visit to the Maldives in January so we can compare the 2 resorts at close intervals. See you there.

Just returned from two magical weeks at your hotel, many thanks to everyone on the staff for mmaking it a very memerable holiday - they have all been exceptional - activity staff especially.
Our thanks to you all for your help when our air conditioning went down and the efficient way it was dealt with.
We will be recomending melia to our friends and definatly be returning in the future, keep up the good work
