We do hope all the staff of Melia Cayo Guillmero knows how much we appreciate their service to us during our second stay March 22nd to 29th.
We had a wonderful holiday, which ended far too quickly. We had a ground level room again this year, 1131, which was simple, clean and opened to the beautiful gardens.
We ate all our meals in the buffet. The choice at all meals was excellent for our needs.
Although we did not use the pool and activities nearby, we enjoyed seeing those who were participating in the activities provided. We are not sunbathers but the beach and wharf area was beautiful and we enjoyed walking on the beach, swimming and fly-fishing.
We enjoyed the friendly staff at the bars both during the afternoon and evening and tried several of the special drinks.
Our excursion to beautiful Pillar Beach was very enjoyable.
Evenings were special also? we danced and enjoyed the special entertainment provided on stage each evening?. Such talent.
We must make a special mention that this is a family resort. Having many young families was also a treat. To those who sang when the lights went out ? thank you.
Many thanks to all? we will not mention names as we only got to know those who served us and we are so pleased to have met you all.
We encourage the management and owners to continue the upgrades and attention to detail that will keep this a very special place.

Have visited before and enjoyed Everything! The pool, beach, selection of food and the rooms are good and the value. All of this at Cayo Guillermo in an off the beaten path location and a tranquil setting among some of the nicest beaches in Cuba! Other beaches I just find outstanding in Cuba are also: Cayo Coco, Cayo Ensenachos, Cayo Santa Maria and Cayo Largo. Looking forward to my visit in April 2012. Have travelled to almost all islands of the Caribbean and the the beaches of Cuba are some of the best. I describe some of the beaches in Cuba as turquoise blue, sand that is as soft as cornstarch with blue, blue, blue and clear water as far as your eyes can see.

We have been to the Melia Cayo Guillermo 3 times and have booked again to go in October. I can't say enough about the service, food and staff. They have never disappointed us and that is why we return every year.
