I want to express and highlight the high level of professionalism of the spa, which I was able to get the benefit of my health. Thanks

This hotel is beyond belief, it is paradise on earth the hotel is so clean well kept and looked after, every single member of staff will do their upmost to help you and make your holiday that little bit more enjoyable,
The rooms are very large, bigger than many other hotels- we were lucky and had an amazing pool view room, mini bar is stocked daily, room is cleaned to perfection daily with many nice touches designed towels, made into shapes of allsorts- the maids even left us a goodbye note!
The waiters/waitresses remove your plate within seconds of finishing the service is second to none, they have it down to a fine art, and the beach is beyond words, so relaxing and tranquil, lots to do around the beach and pool, which is all inclusive the mini catamarans, kayaks to name a few things
All in all unfaultable, if your thinking about staying here, just book it- you will never look back- worth of the 5*?s and more!

We just returned from our third visit to Melia Santa Maria . This is a terrific holiday destination! The rooms are clean and spacious, the amenities are terrific and the staff are way, way above the average. It is truly a wonderful place for a terrific, relaxing vacation. We hope to return next year!

My family and I went to the Melia Cayo Santa Maria on July 26, 2009. It was our third trip to the resort and again, we were very pleased with our holiday. It may seem odd to go in the summer, but, it is summer in Cuba too and an awful lot better than the summer we'd been having in Canada!!! (rain, rain, rain...). Anyway, the rooms are lovely, clean and spacious, the food is quite good (it has improved substantially in the last couple of years), the pool is kept very clean, the beach is beautiful. It is not a loud over-the-top resort (children are no longer allowed at Melia, they are welcome at Sol, next door), and frankly for a quiet relaxing holiday, this place can not be beat!!! So many guests at the resort said that this is the best place to stay in all of Cuba. The Santa Clara airport is small, the bus ride is fairly long (about 90 minutes) but interesting and the 30 mile long causeway to get out to the island of Santa Maria is a beautiful part of the journey. The best part of this resort however is the people. They are friendly, accomodating and probably just about the nicest you'll find anywhere! We look forward to returning next year!!
