great hotel...your treated like family here.Food/drink/views/top notch.Challanging golf course from the "tips".Great beach.One suggestion....come with someone you care about....its a shame to experience this alone...NOT SINGLES ORIENTATED.

I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who is taking a trip to Cuba. You receive exceptional service from the moment you step of the bus. From Daniel who takes your bag to your room to the bar tenders.Raul,Ley,Cuddy,Pedro,Merilea,Roberto,Ravi,Harold and all the rest of the Staff there. All these people made my stay there exceptional. I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED service like this at any hotel including hotels in Canada. I am coming back to the Melia Las Americas for Christmas and I will be staying for two weeks this time because of the people I mentioned and also the rest of the staff there. I can't wait to go back to Cuba and meet up with all my friends again. See you at Christmas.

I just returned from Cuba, Varadero was in this hotel has been phenomenal. The staff is super friendly, the sandy beach and clear water, clean, nice staff ... and the dancers animaciny exceptional. The certainly has given me very sad to finish my stay all no doubt, I have many back .....
