hi: my vacacion was beautiful the hotel is realy nice . carlos de hotel manager he was lovely he is really nice. made feel welcome i love him I enjoy very much my vacacion my family enjoy very much . the rooms are clean I got two suite we jacuzzi the food it was good i will definitely come back.
Just returned from a wonderful week at Princesa Del Mar! Beautiful facility, quiet/relaxing, excellent food in the buffet, Hill Top restaurant was fabulous, wonderful beach and amazing pool area. When we arrived late Sunday, the lobby was quiet and we had to wait about 15 minutes for a bellman to grab our bags...but that's easy to take when you can relax and enjoy a welcome drink. They checked us into the wrong type of room on the first night; no jacuzzi on the patio and no beer in the fridge. They assured us it would be rectified in the morning. Sure enough, the next morning they allowed us to view the right type of suite and placed us in the Royal Service section that remained open. The room was fantastic, and they cleaned the hot tub and made sure we had everything we needed stocked in our suite. Our butler (William) was welcoming and helpful, and even went out and got us a bottle of rum and verified our dinner reservations for the week. Many thanks to all the great staff we met; William (friendly, informative and always available), Danay (who created fabulous towel creatures in the room and laid flowers out for us), Sandy in the Lobby Bar (a smile makes all the difference), Eddie at the Racquet Club (more Tabasco in the Cubanito, Eddie...and thanks for the wine), Jessica for amazingly fast service and posing with our trip "mascot" and the groundskeeper who chopped open a coconut for us. Only area I can think of for improvement would be the bell staff. Not overly friendly or smiley (until you tip) and don't seem to have a lot of information. We look forward to coming back again soon...hopefully when the new Royal Service section is open. Can't wait!!
Thank you for making my vacation one to remember. The hotel is beautiful and the gounds are so well kept. I really enjoyed my time there. The atmosphere is quite lovely and the beach is amazing. I would like to take the time to thank some very special staff who made it extra special: Yanis and Ainsley at the front desk thank you for being helpful and always greeting me with a smile. Ovidio who carried my very heavy luggage and helped me with my phone, always made sure to say hello and ask how I was doing. Marialys who works in the lobby bar, thank you for your service, you are too kind and I appreciate to get to know you my friend. I also enjoyed the YHI Spa where Nuraisy did some acupressure to my right shoulder and it was better during my stay. The spa and staff are truly one of a kind and take extra care with you. Thank you very much. The buffet was good, food was great, good varuety and the pastiries are yum yum. Thank you to Luisa and Marlene in the buffet. I enjoyed the Sakura restaurant and wish everybody to please try, good show and staff very good service. The pool was very clean, quiet and thank you to Myla and Mira for the mojitos, very tasty. My room was very good, clean, I like the old world charm. Thanks you to Dayami who cleaned up after me, I appreciate your service and cute towel display :) This was true paradise for me and hope to come back very soon. Thank you for having me as your guest.
Yo creo que mi viaje fue un antes y un después. Conocer Varaderos fue tener la oportunidad de visitar una cápsula del tiempo que tenía dentro toda una civilización y un ideario. No voy a hablar de las paradisíacas playas, que lo son, ni de los restaurantes, ni de la piscina donde tomas piñas coladas. Para mí este hotel fue mucho más que una cómoda habitación con un escritorio para escribir mi diario de viaje. ¿por dónde empezar? Gracias por abrir mi mente a las conversaciones más ricas y estimulantes que viviera en mucho tiempo, en el bar de la playa, con un VICTOR con terrible oficio, con la simpatía justa y las palabras medidas para generar el ambiente propicio para la charla y el debate cosmpolita. RICHARD también. MARY la chica del restaurant japonés donde me veía me saludaba "Daniiii cómo estás" un alma de puro amor y bondad. EL PIKI Y EL CHINO, dos jardineros conocidos por todo el mundo. La música ambiente en el lobbie, los talentosos músicos, pianistas y violinistas, las piñas coladas, la disposición de todo el staff para hacerme sentir cómoda y relajada a cada momento. ¿tiene cosas malas? SÍ. Tener que reservar para ir a los restaurantes y que nos den turno a las 6.30 pm... que el salón del buffet no tuviera aire acondicionado. Que no hubiese jugos naturales, exprimidos de la fruta. Salvo eso.. creo que lo demás es perfecto. Yo no sé si volveré a Varaderos, pero lo llevaré en mi alma y aunque sé que tal vez nunca lleguen mis saludos, les mando mi amor y mi cariño eterno a piki, el chino, mary, ivis, richard y victor, que en argentina tendrán siempre una amiga que os quiere
Second time in three years at this Resort .... BEAUTIFUL site, neither too big nor too small, very functional. Vegetation is mature and very well taken care by a great team of gardeners. When we arrived on Friday evening, there was a Cuban band in the lobby, the atmosphere was magic and while we did our registration, we had the pleasure to be served by YUSMILA (piano bar) .... What a WELCOME, what energy deployed by this woman ... Every night after our meal, we had the pleasure of being served by YUSMILA and have always EXCELLENT service! What about Victor, the barman of the beach .... always cheerful, offering great service ... with a good sense of humor. BRAVO! The food is very good in all restaurants, excellent wines chosen according to the type of meal ... which is very rare in the south even in 5 Stars Hôtel. The evening entertainment was good, dances and different bands every night. The beach is beautiful, there are plenty of palapas. We can do the catamaran, kayak, pedalboat and other sports .... Suggestion-comments: schedule at the pool bar, closes at 6 pm, a little over 30 minutes would be appreciated. Also, the kiosk where we exchanged our towels closed too early. We loved our experience, our friends who traveled with us rediscovered Cuba ... We recommend warmly Paradisus Princessa Del Mar and without hesitation. We will come back ... SOON! Deuxième fois en trois ans à ce Resort.... MAGNIFIQUE site, ni trop grand ni trop petit, très fonctionnel. La végétation est mature et très très bien entretenue par une belle équipe de jardiniers. À notre arrivée en soirée le vendredi, il y avait un band Cubain dans le lobby, l'ambiance était magique et pendant que nous faisions notre enregistrement, nous avons eu le plaisir d'être servi par YUSMILA (piano-bar)....Quel accueil, quelle énergie déployée par cette femme... et à chaque soir après notre repas, nous avons eu le bonheur d'être servi par YUSMILA et avons toujours eu un EXCELLENT service!! Que dire de VICTOR, notre barman de la plage.... toujours de bonne humeur, offrant aussi un très bon service... avec un bon sens de l'humour...BRAVO!! La nourriture est très bonne dans tous les restaurants à la carte, très bons vins choisis en fonction du type de repas... ce qui est très rare dans le sud même dans les hôtels 5 étoiles. L'animation du soir était bonne, spectacles de danses et bands différents à chaque soir. La plage est très belle, il y a beaucoup de palapas. On peut y faire du catamaran, kayak, pédalo et autres sports.... Suggestion- commentaires : l'horaire du bar à la piscine, ferme à 18 h, un petit 30 minutes de plus serait apprécié. Aussi, le kiosque où on échangeait nos serviettes fermait tôt. Nous avons adoré notre expérience, nos amis qui voyageaient avec nous ont redécouvert Cuba... Nous recommandons chaleureusement le Paradisus Princessa Del Mar et sans aucune hésitation. Nous reviendrons... bientôt!
This resort requires no other word by EXCELLENT The friendly service we have ever experienced, food excitingly different and extremey tasty. Rooms A 1, Beach 'WOW', Pool- very inviting, entertainment - very tasteful,We would recommend it to all. Its a classy resort.
What a beautiful hotel with brilliant staff,my husband and i had the most memeorable three week stay and have booked already to come back.We were so well looked after and nothing was too much trouble for the staff,by the end of our stay the staff knew what we wanted before we had to ask.

No hace ni cuarenta y ocho horas que estaba con mi pareja disfrutando de este paraiso y no tengo palabras para expresar el agradecimiento al trato recibido por todo el personal de este hotel. Se suponía que ibamos en temporada baja(el hotel estaqba mas o menos a un 25% de ocupacion) y con parte del hotel(creo que es una ampliacion de la zona real) en obras. Han sido cuatro días de ensueño. Espero que me perdonen por mi mala memoria con los nombres, solo recuerdo el de Indira en el bar del lobby(los mejores daikiris del mundo prepara ella). Pero desde el encargado de la animacion, las chicas del bar de la piscina, el servicio de camareros del buffet, de la discoteca, de los restaurantes temáticos(el japones es impresionante y el oriental delicioso tambien), hasta los recepcionistas, la camarera de habitacion(nos hacia la habitacion dos veces al día casi siempre con petalos de flor o animales hechos con toallas encima de la cama al llegar) o el gerente todo el mundo se ha volcado en complacer hasta el más minimo de nuestros deseos(la zona real estaba desactivada por las obras pero nos obsequiaron con el traslado a una suite real sin coste alguno cuando preguntamos el precio de la mejora) y aun me emociono al recordar como cuando preguntabas si algo era posible(por ejemplo un coco tumbado en tu hamaca o un sandwich delicioso a cualquier hora de la madrugada) ellos contestaban "todo es posible en el Princesa del mar, señor...) Lo dicho, aun con el handicap de las obras o que los jacuzzis estuvieran desactivados por mantenimiento...INMEJORABLE Muchas gracias a todo el personal por estos cuatro dias inolvidables. Ah, recomiendo energicamente la excursion en catamarán, te llevan a bañarte con delfines, a hacer un rato de snorkel sobre una barrera de coral y luego a una playa preciosa en una isla donde comes langosta en un marco inmejorable. Y todo bañado en barra libre continua y musica y buen ambiente...la bomba...
Limpieza, servicios y animación, perfectos. Especial mención al grupo de animación, sensibilidad especial. La chica del aqua gym, una crack. Repetiremos.
Der perfekte Urlaub. Das Hotel ist ein Schmuck-Kästchen. Es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Das Personal ist super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit, weit über unsere Erwartungen hinaus. Essen, Zimmer, Garten und Strand sind toll. Immer genügend Platz vorhanden. Strandtuch-Tausch so oft man möchte, Essen und Trinken 24 Stunden möglich. Die Abendvorstellungen sind ein Augenschmaus. Ich war noch nie so tiefenentspannt nach einem Urlaub wie nach diesem. Sofort und jederzeit wieder ins Princessa del Mar. Wärmstens zu empfehlen.
Just wanted to drop a quick review to give some props for Mila from the Beach Bar. Mila always seemed genuinely happy to see us when we visited the bar. She always had a big smile and was so easy to talk to. Also want to acknowledge Jean from the Beach Snack Bar / Restaurant - he too was always smiling and most happy to serve us.

no puedo dejar de destacar la impecable atención de victor, milagros y arahi en el bar de la playa, el servicio, el cariño y el respeto fue el mas grande que obtuve en un hotel en toda mi vida, en el bar 24 hs dayllen, giselle y dayli. me fui y me pregunte, llegue a mi pais y me sigo preguntando, como puede haber un cariño tan sincero en solo 3 noches que me hospede en vuestro hotel, y me sigo interrogando, como estas personas tienen tanto cariño y tanta vocación para atendernos! sinceramente los felicito, y gracias por haberme hecho pasar los mejores tres días de mi vida! We just returned from the Paradisus Princesa Del Mar on Sat Jan 28th 2012 this was my 5th stay in Cuba and my third in Varadero (I spent 2 weeks at the 5 star Riu Varadero in Feb of 2011,I have also been to Mexico 8 times,Jamaica once Punta Cana 5 times also Florida 5-6 times,Colombia South America 8 times and France,Germany, Switzerland) So that being said I did not want to visit Cuba after last years stay at the Riu resort (bad experience and way too long a story but would not return there after last years experience the resorts are walking distance apart but worlds apart when it comes to food and the whole experience) the Paradisus is the 1st 5 star resort that is truely a 5 star that i have ever stayed in Cuba and I have stayed at 2 Princess resorts and 2 Riu Palace resorts in Mexico the grounds are well maintained and groomed the Staff are second to none they are kind and cheerful from the Butler we had to the Grounds keeper that had a fresh flower for my wife every morning (he would always say with your permission to me before presenting her a flower or grasshopper he had made from leaves that he had cut) The food was outstanding we ate at theInternational/Cuban,french,Japanese,and oriental and 3 nights we ate Lobster at the buffet.... yes grilled Lobster, even the beach grill is Ala carte and is a nice change from beach food that we are use to.The deep fried Calamari was the best we have ever had.(and we are a group of 6 and we all agreed on that) The beef must be imported because it was tender and flavorful deserts where wow and Spanish coffee after dinner finished it off. 12 year old Glenlivet scotch while watching the nightly show followed by closing the disco nightly ask Yoel and the disco for a flaming Sambucca you will be surprised at what he will do with it. The nightly shows where fun Michael Jackson night was very cool. I cant think of a single negative thing to say about the food/staff/resort We met with the hotel director(we wanted to tell him what a great resort he was running) I told him I would write a review that was worthy because its easier to write a crap review than it is to write a nice one Anyways would i recommend this resort YES would I return YES I am looking to see if I can find a trip back late March/April of this year So cheers everyone hope to meet you 1 day at the Paradisus Princesa Del Mar Dave Newell Ottawa Canada Stayed January 2012, traveled with friends

I was very much impressed by the quality of the service and friendly atmosphere. Cleaning lady of my room, her name is Regla, did great job in taking care of the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The food and service in the reastruant exceeded my expectations. Entertainment program was great, entertainment team leader Felix and his team did terrific job to ensure guests have interesting exercising sport program as well as deliver professional salsa dancing lessons. Thank you very much for your hospitality, enthusiasm and dedication to your job.

We had a great time during our stay at the hotel. The food was much better than I had expected, we used all of the restaurants and the service was very good in all of them. Usually I do not enjoy eating in buffet restaurants but I have to admit that this was the best one I have ever used and this was due to both the food and the staff. Our room maid Maria was very attentive and did a great job. My favourite place of all was the piano bar where we had a great time. The entertainers in there were great but especially the Huracanes (Orlando and Jesus). The staff in the Piano Bar were so happy and busy and made us laugh so much, so many thanks to Yuniel, Yusmila and Sandy.
My husband and I thoroughtly enjoyed our time in Cuba and found the Staff and services here fantastic...! From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the service of all the staff, and must praise highly or room maid Ana, the gardener Carlos, (who delivereda beautiful hibiscus flower to me over the balcony every morning), and Our restaurant reservation manager. We would certainly recommend this resort to all and look forward to returning to Cuba and one of your hotels in January 2012. Thank you so much for making our holiday so so wonderful xxx

Hemos estado en Abril del 2011 con un viaje organizado por la empresa, éramos 70 compañer@s, y le puedo decir a Alejandro Sanz, que YA HEMOS ENCONTRADO EL PARAISO!!!!. La gente encantadora, un beso muy grande a las chicas del 24 horas. Un servicio fenomenal, la gente estupenda, el director del hotel muy atento, los animador@s, la fiesta en la playa...etc. no terminaría nunca. Volveremos!!!

Excellent service, delicious food and cocktails, perfectly clean rooms, a beautiful beach with crystal clear water - just a few keywords trying to describe the two wonderful weeks we spent there in November 2010. We very much enjoyed going on a snorkling trip with the catamaran and to dance in Captain Morgan's. We had a wonderful relaxing time thanks to this marvelous resort and its very thoughtful and friendly staff.

We have just enjoyed a most wonderful and memorable holiday at the Princesa del Mar hotel in Varadero, Cuba. The hotel was so well managed by Gregorio Coca Roman, Director Resident, who was absolutely everywhere. When in the restaurants, gardens, pool or beach, Gregorio would be there checking all was in orded, speaking with the staff, overseeing the repainting of the beachpath or checking the buffet, all with an energy which was a joy to observe. I can think of many 5 star hotels that would benefit greately from having Gregorio in charge.
Just got back from Princessa and it was awesome! This hotel was not our 1st choice (we were moved there due to the construction work at our original hotel), but turned out to be just perfect! The room, the food, the pool, and the beach are simply great! The entertainment team could not be better (ready to help and involve U in any kind of activities, but staying out of your way when needed). Special thanks to Mayeline ? U r really unique, and one of the best yoga teachers I had and I admire your sense of humor, and DJ Luis from the night club, able to mix the music in the way which goes the best with cuba libre or mojito ? The staff is friendly and smiling, u can hear Cuban music live at lunches and dinners ? real Buena vista social club in the resort, there is no need to book any sun beds at the pool or the beach before breakfast as there are plenty of them ( in the shades as well). The pool is really clean and the beach is marvelous, private, with 2 bars, and the guard watching your stuff, just in case, while you go for lunch or a swim. Rooms are specious and really clean - our had a wonderful ocean view - the sun sets are really something ?. The assortment of food is truly good - I stuck to sea food, as I do not eat meat, and could not get bored having it for almost 2 weeks, 2 times a day. I was just missing fresh vegetables ? they were mostly canned, but in good variety. There are also 4 other restaurants which are decent, out of which I highly recommend the Japanese one - the food is excellent, and the show ? even better. We took the catamaran trip from the hotel, and it was terrific, even in the rain, and you can fall in love with the ocean the cayolargo island and?. not only ? During my almost 2 weeks stay at Princessa del Mar I truly felt like a princess - Thanks !
We have just returned from an absolutely fantastic holiday, how anyone can fault this place is beyond me. We stayed the last 2 weeks of July, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was always freshly cooked with a great deal of choice available. The extra restaurants were available for booking as long as you got there quick The rooms were always clean and tidy with fresh towels daily. The only minor downside were the mosquitoes, however the hotel is doing there best to combat this with daily fogging procedures. One recommendation is to buy the local repellent that works very well. Would recommend this place to everyone and would go back again.

I had an absolutely devine holidays in April 2010 in Princesa del Mar. The service, food, design of the hotel, all-day entertainment were quite unique. It was my 4th holidays in Cuba in the last ten years and second in Princesa, so I had seen other hotels, and I think Princesa was the best of all Varadero. Special thanks to the entertainment team - Alexis, Mayte, Mayeline, Chan and Felix. These guys are born 'al ritmo de rumba'! I liked the Cuban restaurant a lot, the food served by charming and friendly Yacquelin tasted surprisingly good.This place is ideal for couples as well as singles, communication with the rest of Varadero is easy by bus or taxi and it is quite close to the Varadero night life, if, I don't believe it, you get bored in Princesa and want to see something else. By all means, try it, you will not regret it.

Awesome food, service, rooms... We were there 2nd week of April 09 and very much enjoyed the experience. The resort is wonderful with NO screaming kids. Sunwing did excellent job of tours... I recommend the trip to Havana with the Tropicana evening as well as the Catamaran.
Honeymoon of our dreams. We were at the resort in june 2008. All we can say is it was breathtaking, amaziing, clean. We highly reccommened it. We are very picky people, we pay for and expect the best...this was better then we ever thought. We both recommened the Royal service. The price is well worth it, private pool, resturant, beach. Our honeymoon was truly amazing and we look forward to going back soon. Anyone who wants a five star vacation....this is a six....
