We travelled to the resort in March 2012. It was a wonderful experience. The staff are so friendly and would do anything to make sure our holiday went well. The restaurants are excellent and the buffet has something for everyone. Our room was a bit tired and could have done with a make over but we understand that the resort is in the process of systematically refreshing all of the rooms. Testament to how much we enjoyed our stay? well, we will be returning to the resort in February 2013. Now that is something we've never done before in all of our years of travelling. Great all-inclusive for relaxing vacation. Went there on a babymoon for a last trip alone with my husband before giving birth and everything was perfect. Great staff, variety of food, 24 hour room service, beautiful and peaceful resort. Loved the private beaches and the tranquility of the place, especially appreciated since I am pregnant and I don't drink or party !! I would recommend this all-inclusive to anyone who needs to rest and is not looking for too much animation around the pool or on the beach. Also, being allergic to seafood, I really appreciated the separate stations at the buffet and the staff's attention in the restaurants. Best restaurants in my opinion are the International and Mediterranean. But if you like meat, better ask for rare to get it medium (husband's comment!) I would love to go back, but it's a no-kids resort, so I might have to wait a few years for that!!
Title says it all. This was a fantastic holiday. The food was amazing everything for all palates and plenty dining options to choose from GENTLEMEN PLEASE TAKE LONG TROUSERS AS YOU WILL NOT BE ADMITTED TO ANY OF THE RESTAURANTS. The staff are very friendly and eager to please...on arrival we reported our little coffee maker in our room wasnt working - it was replaced within 20 minutes! The rooms are spacious and clean. Room Service is excellent delivery within 15 minutes. We rate this as being the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Only slightly disapointed with the nightly entertainment - a bit dated but cannot fault the animation team they are a great bunch of people. I would have been nice to see the beach bar open at night so that you had another bar to go to for a drink and perhaps watch the sunset. There is only the Lobby bar (piano music, singers not to our taste) and the Music bar which was ok for a quick drink to cool down in (air con) We are definately planning a return visit.
We had a great time, the first two weeks of May 2011. Great resort, good food and beverages. Very nice and helpfull staff. And we mean everybody (i don't forget the nice garden-guys). El guitarrista Fofi era súper!!! It was also very easy in the Hotel to organize trips by plane, helicopter and taxi driver. Thank you for a wonderful vacation and we certainly want to come back. In one word: Amazing!!!
I highly recommend the Paradisus, the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Even the buffet was excellent, you won't be disappointed. I look forward to returning.
Absolutely wonderful resort. I had read reviews online so the grounds/food/facilities etc were as expected, however I was very suprised by the staff. They were curteous, friendly, welcoming - absolutely wonderful in every way. The live music was also beyond my expectations. Well done! Thank you for a very relaxing vacation. It's too bad that more guests don't participate in the extra activities.
This is the 4th occasion upon which we have stayed at this hotel and as usual it matched our expectations. We will return next year.
Well My husband and I spent 1 week. at the Paradisus De RIO ORO. It was the most relaxing time we have had in a long time. Staff and room were wonderful Clean Great food and Service.It really is a 5 STAR!!!!!
Just returned from a fabulous week at this resort. I did a lot of research before selecting this resort, emailed lots of people and read many reviews. I have been to several all inclusives resorts around the world and this one is absolutely, without question, the best, so much so we will be returning next year. The pictures on the resort website were perfectly what you see, there was no photo touch ups! The rooms & service excellent, facilties well maintained and food delicious. All the staff were friendly and professional, the maids were fabulous. The gernal manager, although we didn't speak to him personally, was everywhere, all the time (I swear he didn't sleep) he was very interested in the guests and tried to speak to as many guests as possible. The entertainment and activities were there if you wanted to partake in but otherwise they didn't interfer with your holiday and relaxation.This is one of the best vacations I have been on in many years and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to my family & friends.
There should be excellent listed for ratings.Everyone and everything was beautiful, friendly , clean, with the best food and service.We will be back, and will tell everyone else to go to Paradisus De Rio Oro. THANKYOU for a wonderful vacation and a great wedding for my son and his wife.
I would like say that this was the best holiday my husband and I have ever had and we're certainly going to start saving our pennies so that we can return in the very near future.
