I recently stayed at your resort from December 20th to December 27th, 2010 and it was my first visit to your country as well and I personally wanted to set aside some time to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful experience I had.

I travelled with 4 other friends for the first time and we all agreed that we were treated with the upmost respect and have never felt so welcomed anywhere before. This has been a wonderful experience for me and I have met a lot of great people during my stay at your resort.

I had the best time of my life and being away from family at Christmas time was hard for me as I really missed my family, but the staff made me feel like family that hard day, they truly did and for that, I am forever grateful.

If at all possible, I would like to send a sincere thank you to a few staff members at the front desk who provided me with wonderful service and finding me a new room closer to my friends within in seconds of just coming into the resort. It really meant a lot to me.

I can not express how respectful and gracious your staff is, especially the bar staff with putting up with so much from different people. Amazing people and there are a few that I would like to personally say thanks too: Maximilien (something similar to this name), Jose (there was two of them) and Pedro. These three stuck in my head because they were excellent and gracious. If you could send them my thanks it would mean the world to me.

Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the most amazing experience of Cuba. I will definitely come back this year. Who knows, maybe as soon as February. I miss it already and not for the weather, I miss the people more.

I would like to let you know that the best costumer service we had was by Jiancomo who work at the Bar by the beach (La nina) very nice person always ready with the smile to serve you ..way to go Jiancomo keep the awesome service .Congratulations!!!!!!!!.

FABULOUS - SHOULD BE NAMED PARADISE ISLAND - OR HIDDEN GEM

My recent stay at your hotel was FABULOUS. We stayed at the Mares side of the hotel IN ROOMS 1038 / 1041
The staff are amazing, and make you so welcome and special. The food is top class and the beach is the most beautiful I have ever seen.
Top marks to the French Restaurant being that little bit extra special.
Our rooms were cleaned, new towels and bedding every day, and our fridge stocked with fresh water. What more can you ask for.
I can honestly say I have never stayed in a better All Inclusive Hotel either for Food, drink, housekeeping, and certainly never had any staff at any other hotel as nice and helpful as the staff at Sol Rio de Luna y Mares Resort.

A special Thanks to Margarite who was working in the Mares Lobby Bar. You are fabulous Margarite and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I would just like to pass on my thoughts on how wonderful my holiday to the Sol Rio De Luna Mares has been. This hotel is amazing and set in a beautiful place but what really made it brilliant was the staff. I could not come back without letting you know how wonderful your staff are. A special thanks to Yenilay in the Luna Bar for fantastic service and amazing drinks. Also to Wendy and Niover in the customer relations department who turned this holiday into paradise. The service and hospitality is the best I've ever received and we can never repay them for everything they did for us. We cannot praise this hotel and it's staff enough. Fabulous.
