I have never met a more beautiful group of people both on the inside and out. The entertainment staff and all the rest would go out of their way to ensure you are having a good time. There was an instance when Danny actually asked me what was wrong and that instantly made my day better. DJ Nelson played the best music that varied, ensuring to play things from everyone's taste. Alberto, the general manager, was a very hospitable man and very patient. Coming with a group of 400+ 17 year olds, he kept incredible composure. Judy, one of the dancers and along with the rest of them are great people. Over the week, my friends and I developed a great friendship with Felix, Steve, Danny, Daner, Mary, Chino, Julio, Judy, Nelson, and all of the others. It was like we had known them forever by the time we left. Santiago, the bartender that was mostly at the pool, also provided us with the best services; especially considering the fact he was bombarded with too many drunk teenagers all the time. Fiz, one of the chefs at the Buffet, was always smiling and making sure he makes his food the exact way you like it. The staff at this resort was really what made the trip all that what it was. Thank you for having such a great group of people.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in October and i would say its the best holiday wev.e had so far, The hotel was clean and well presented, the staff were excellent nothing was to much trouble and the food and selection of resturantes was second to non. I was amazed at how switched on the manager Alberto was he was everywhere checking everything all the time. The entertainment was very good and the children also seemed to like the kids club. All in all i would give 10/10 and will be going back next year.

I loved my stay at tryp!! The staff was extra friendly and fun, the food was better than expected (especially the a la carte) and the beach was beautiful. The floor of the room could have been cleaned a little better but other than that the maids did a good job. Also, the pool got dirty during the day which wasn't ideal. Overall I loved it and would definitely go back!

Just returned from a week stay at the Tryp - Dec. 20-27/10. Can't complain about the food. The Dec. 24th buffet was spectacular with plenty of lobster, crab, prawns, shrimp, calamari, and clams for seafood lovers. The dessert table was outstanding! The rooms need a makeover especially the bathroom. Our only concern was the seller in the tobacco shop who charged us 20 pesos for a 4 peso package of Montecristo 5 Puritos. It was clearly marked 4 pesos but she insisted they were 4 pesos each and unfortunately we paid. The exact same package at duty free at the airport was 4 pesos and that's when we realized we had been had. I emailed the manager about this but did not receive a response. The lobby bar was great as well as the great drinks. The pizza hut was excellent also as was the International Restaurant. Staff was exceptional and we plan to return in the future.
