I loved my stay at tryp!! The staff was extra friendly and fun, the food was better than expected (especially the a la carte) and the beach was beautiful. The floor of the room could have been cleaned a little better but other than that the maids did a good job. Also, the pool got dirty during the day which wasn't ideal. Overall I loved it and would definitely go back!

Just returned from a week stay at the Tryp - Dec. 20-27/10. Can't complain about the food. The Dec. 24th buffet was spectacular with plenty of lobster, crab, prawns, shrimp, calamari, and clams for seafood lovers. The dessert table was outstanding! The rooms need a makeover especially the bathroom. Our only concern was the seller in the tobacco shop who charged us 20 pesos for a 4 peso package of Montecristo 5 Puritos. It was clearly marked 4 pesos but she insisted they were 4 pesos each and unfortunately we paid. The exact same package at duty free at the airport was 4 pesos and that's when we realized we had been had. I emailed the manager about this but did not receive a response. The lobby bar was great as well as the great drinks. The pizza hut was excellent also as was the International Restaurant. Staff was exceptional and we plan to return in the future.

I've just returned from 2 weeks at the Tryp hotel in Cayo Coco and had a brilliant time.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the resort is beautiful and the scenery is stunning.
The food and entertainment was excellent, and the lack of Americans made it a peaceful environment.
The only complaint I have is that the bands do not leave you to eat in peace - and only know about 2 songs between them! Not ideal when your trying to get a baby to sleep, as we were. But other than that, a brilliant place and a brilliant holiday!

What can I say. Had a brilliant time. Staff were so friendly. Resort was well looked after ( Here to the gardeners, you're amazing) Ossie the Bar man in Lobby Bar was great. Beaches great. Thoroughly recommend anyone going to Cuba to stay here. Yours, Stevey Room 1463 (7th Sept - 21st Sept 2010)
