Sol Meliá Cuba has planned a number of new attractions for this year's Singles Fiesta, scheduled for the month of June in four hotels located in Varadero, Cayo Coco and Cayo Santa Maria.
The first week (June 1-6) will be held in Meliá Cayo Coco, the second (June 8-13) in Meliá Las Americas in Varadero, while the fourth (June 15- 20) will be held in Meliá Cayo Santa Maria and in Meliá Las Antillas, also in Varadero, during (June 22- 27).
These 5-star All-Inclusive hotels for Adults Only have their own original Singles Fiesta program. Clients who decide to take part in the Singles Festival can opt for one or several Singles Fiesta programs, thanks to Sol Meliá Cuba's combined stays in Sol Meliá hotels
The general program includes activities in the beach and swimming pool, masquerade and pajama parties, swimming suits exhibitions, talent competitions, sand sculpture contests, exchange of e-mail and souvenirs, tropical tattoo sessions, sports tournaments, popular Cuban games, excursions, salsa nights, collective birthday parties, mask balls and disco dancing till the early morning hours.
With the celebration of a summer and winter Singles Fiesta in 2008, Sol Meliá Cuba incurred for the first time in the singles segment of the market so that clients traveling alone or in groups can spend their leisure time making new friends, performing activities according to their age group, visiting exotic places, discovering new cultures and living new and exciting emotions.
Taking into account the characteristics of its mayor tourist markets, Sol Meliá Cuba decided that this year's Singles Fiesta would last a month and also extended the event to other hotels, thus diversifying the destinations and expanding the number of options.
Also referred to in the tourist milieu as "pairs and odds", this category also includes bachelors, divorcés, widowers or persons with simply prefer to travel alone.
One of the main features of clients in this segment is that they travel off- season and more extensively that the average population, they usually have higher incomes and prefer fun and adventure in exotic destinations.
