Paradisus Río de Oro received the Neckermann PRIMO award 2011. Thus, customers of this important German tour operator expressed their recognition to the 100 best hotels, from more than three thousand marketed throughout the world Paradisus Río de Oro Resort & Spa ranks among the top 10 in this group of 100 hotels.
The award is keeping with the 5-star luxury resort's position in major travel forums such as TripAdvisors and Monarc.
According to TripAdvisor, the largest travel website in the world, during the past year , Paradisus Río de Oro ranked first among Cuban hotels, a position it still maintains in 2012, while Monarc, the largest travel community in Canada, informed that the resort concluded 2011 among the leading five resorts in the Caribbean.
Recently it was announced that Paradisus Rio de Oro , situated on the northern coast of Holguin province and approximately 800 kilometers east of Havana, is the hotel preferred by most customers of British tour operator Virgin Holidays.
Neckermann also accorded a PRIMO Award 2011 to Meliá Las Dunas , a 5- star resort whose modern comfort is a perfect complement to the natural luxury of Cayo Santa Maria, part of the north-eastern archipelago off the coast of Villa Clara province in the central region of the country, and approximately 300 kilometers from the Cuban capital.
