Paradisus Río de Oro Resort & Spa will recommence operations on October 27th after undergoing an extensive restoration process as a result of the damages caused by Hurricane Ike in Spetemeber.
This 5-star resort (300 rooms) will offers guests its usual services and facilities following a comprehensive restoration process. The hotel now exhibits a new and rejuvenated image with a superior product and higher standards" affirmed
Juan Tuñón, general manager of Paradisus Río de Oro. He also informed that the decoration of the specialized restaurants had been changed and the buffet restauant now offers guest an Italina corner. The swimming pool area was also expanded and the Club House, reception and lobby were also remodled. Thus, Paradisus Río de Oro will commence operations during the coming high season with the quality that distinguishes it, judging by the multiple prizes accorded by leading international tour operators and by travellers from all over the world.
The rapid termination of the works made it possible to commence operations before the time originally foreseen for the first days of November.
The quick refurbishment of the Paradisus Río de Oro Hotel was possible thanks to the efforts and dedication of the hotel staff, and to the close coordination among Gaviota S.A., owner of the hotel, Sol Meliá, the hotel operator and the office of the Minstry of Tourism in Holguín.
