Canadian travelers prefer Meliá Cuba hotels

The Paradisus Río de Oro, Meliá Cayo Coco and Sol Pelícano hotels were honored with the Monarc 2011 Award, which is granted based on the views of Canadian travelers.
Canada is the leading source market for both Cuba, as a tourist destination, and the hotels operated by Meliá Hotels International in the largest archipelago in the Caribbean.
Last year, a total of 1,002,318 Canadians chose Cuba as their travel destination.
This is the third consecutive award accorded to Paradisus Río de Oro, which recently received the Primo Award 2011, granted by Thomas Cook-Neckermann, and the TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice Award 2012
This luxury five-star resort is among the best hotels in the Caribbean, according to Monarc.ca, the largest travel community in Canada, The hotel also ranks first among the resorts in Holguin, in terms of its general assessment, price/quality ratio, wide gastronomic offer and as a destination for couples.
Monarc groups more than 80% of Canadian online tour agencies and only customers who purchased their tour package through one of these agencies are able to post their comments in the travel forum.
